Peter
Parris, a native of great Britain, was converted at the age of thirteen
at a Baptist church in south London. He began preaching when he was
fifteen, and had the privilege and benefit of godly ministers, including
Dr. D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones of Westminster Chapel. He was involved in the
house church movement in England during the sixties, and in 1973 became
part of an apostolic team under the leadership of Bryn Jones. He has
been in the States since 1978, and has founded churches in Little Rock,
Arkansas; San Diego, California; and Bedford, Texas. Since 1996, Peter
has worked with the Fellowship of Connected Churches and Ministries (FCCM),
serving as one of the apostolic leaders of the group and ministering in
many FCCM churches and the larger body of Christ.
Since
moving to Tallahassee, Florida in 1998 with his wife, Carla, Peter has
worked closely with Life Gate Church in Albany, Georgia, overseeing the
leadership team there and ministering there on a regular basis. Peter
has a burden for the truths of the new covenant and the gospel of the
kingdom to be fully appreciated, for believers to love and enjoy the
Lord, and for the Church to come to the unity of the faith and her
promised maturity in Jesus Christ.
